The Wicklow Way, a 79-mile (127-kilometer) long-distance trail, begins in the suburbs of south Dublin and winds through the scenic Wicklow Mountains National Park. This well-known walking route takes hikers past an array of landscapes, including waterfalls, lakes, farmland, bogs, and glacial valleys. One of the highlights is the monastic ruins of Glendalough, set amidst the rugged beauty of the mountains.
