Accessibility Statement
TernTour is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We recognise that accessible digital experiences are essential to inclusive travel planning, and we continuously work to improve usability and access.
1. Our Efforts
- We design and develop the site with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, aiming to ensure content is readable, operable, understandable, and robust.
- We provide alternative text (alt attributes) for images wherever possible, to assist users who rely on screen readers.
- We use semantic HTML elements (headings, lists, tables, etc.) to enhance navigation and comprehension.
- Keyboard navigation is supported so users who do not use a mouse can browse key areas of the site.
- Colour schemes are chosen with consideration for users with colour vision deficiencies or low vision, ensuring information is not conveyed by colour alone.
- Videos include captions or transcripts where feasible, to support users who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who cannot play audio.
2. Known Limitations
As our platform features a large number of images, maps, social media embeds, and third‑party videos, we cannot fully control the accessibility of external content. Some third‑party materials may lack alt text, captions, or keyboard operability. We are actively reviewing embedded content to minimise such limitations.
3. Ongoing Improvements
We regularly review the structure and content of frequently visited pages and core features (such as attraction directories, blog articles, and booking link buttons). User feedback plays a key role in helping us prioritise and implement accessibility enhancements.
4. Contact Us
If you encounter any barriers while using Global Attractions Navigator, or if you have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond promptly and use your input to inform future updates.
