Victory Square, a centrally-located public square in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, is home to a striking memorial dedicated to the Kyrgyz lives lost in World War II and the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany. Completed in the mid-1980s, the monument features three towering granite arches, making it one of Bishkek’s most eye-catching landmarks. Visitors can also see an eternal flame and a bronze statue of a woman symbolizing the Kyrgyz motherland. The square provides a poignant space for reflection and remembrance.
