Beihai Park, originally part of the Forbidden City during the Qing Dynasty, dates back to the 10th century and stands as one of China’s oldest and most significant imperial gardens. Located in the heart of Beijing, this 171-acre (69-hectare) garden is a sprawling landscape of historical and cultural treasures. Visitors can explore a temple, bell and drum towers, and the iconic white pagoda, which rises prominently above the park. The grounds also feature serene lakes, elegant pavilions, and the intricately designed Nine-Dragon Wall, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of ancient Chinese architecture and design.
