Tempel Synagogue (Synagoga Tempel)

Built in 1862 by Krakow’s progressive Jewish community, the Tempel Synagogue (Synagoga Tempel) stands as one of seven remaining synagogues in the city’s historic Kazimierz district. The synagogue is distinguished by its gilded, Moorish-style wooden interior, which adds a rich, ornate texture to the space. Today, visitors can experience occasional religious services and regular community events, including concerts, that bring the historic building to life.
