Taft Point

Taft Point, located in Yosemite National Park, offers a unique and dramatic vista. This panoramic viewpoint stands out for its direct line of sight to the Fissures, narrow breaks in the mile-high granite rock face that plummet up to 2,000 feet into Yosemite Valley. From this vantage point, visitors can also admire the distant cascades of Yosemite Falls and the imposing form of El Capitan. Additionally, Taft Point connects with the Sentinel Dome Trail, providing hikers with an opportunity to extend their exploration and experience more of the park’s natural beauty.
