St. Michael’s Church

The white steeple of St. Michael’s Church rises prominently above Charleston, marking the site of the city’s oldest church. This still-functioning place of worship, with its elegant steeple, is also an architectural landmark. Inside, visitors can admire Tiffany stained-glass windows and an original organ from 1768. While services are held on Sundays, tourists can explore the building, though access is limited during times of worship.
