The Rodin Museum (Musée Rodin) opened its doors in 1919, following sculptor Auguste Rodin’s donation of his life’s work to the state of France. This collection, including iconic pieces such as The Kiss and The Thinker, is housed in the artist’s former residence, the Hôtel Biron. The rococo mansion features 18 rooms filled with Rodin’s drawings and sculptures, while the surrounding flower-filled garden also displays several of his works. Visitors can explore this historic setting, immersing themselves in the creative legacy of one of France’s most renowned artists.
