Rising to approximately 2,680 feet (817 meters) above sea level, Mt. Nebo in Jordan is a significant pilgrimage site for those of the Judeo-Christian faith. According to tradition, this is where Moses first glimpsed the Holy Land and may have also passed away. The mountain’s historical significance draws history enthusiasts, while its elevated position offers breathtaking views. On clear days, visitors can see as far as the Dead Sea, making it a rewarding destination for both its spiritual and scenic qualities.
