Toledo’s oldest standing monument, the Mosque of Christ of the Light (Mezquita Del Cristo De La Luz), dates back over 1,000 years. Inspired by the Mosque of Córdoba, this structure is the only remaining mosque in Toledo. After the Christian reconquest of the city in 1186, it was converted into a church. Visitors can explore its historical and architectural significance, experiencing the blend of Islamic and Christian influences that define this unique site.
