Mapocho Station, located in Santiago, Chile, was a pivotal hub of the country’s railway network during the 1800s, connecting Chile to the port town of Valparaiso and, by extension, to the rest of the world. This historic station, now known as Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho, stands as a National Monument. Its grand, industrial architecture and spacious interiors have been repurposed to host a variety of cultural events and performances throughout the year, offering visitors a blend of historical significance and contemporary culture.
