Aquinnah Cliffs

The pastel-hued Aquinnah Cliffs, also known as Gay Head Cliffs, stand at the westernmost tip of Martha’s Vineyard, offering one of the island’s most scenic views. These colorful cliffs, with their layers of red, white, and gray clay, rise dramatically above the ocean. Visitors can head to the overlook by land to take in the sweeping coastal vistas and the historic Gay Head Light lighthouse, or opt for a boat tour to admire the cliffs’ striking appearance from the water.
