Pubblico Palace (Palazzo Pubblico)

Towering over Piazza del Campo, the 14th-century Gothic Palazzo Pubblico stands as a testament to Siena’s historical wealth and power. This imposing structure, which continues to serve as Siena’s City Hall after 700 years, features a Civic Museum that houses spectacular frescoes from the Sienese school. Visitors can also climb the Torre del Mangia bell tower for panoramic views of the city’s rooftops and the distant Crete Senesi hills.
