Dahshur, located in the desert sands of Cairo, Egypt, was once home to 11 large pyramids, though only two remain today: the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. Both were constructed by Pharaoh Snefru around 4,500 years ago. Unlike the bustling Giza Pyramids, Dahshur offers a more tranquil experience. Visitors can explore the interiors of both the Bent and Red Pyramids, as well as a smaller side pyramid, providing a unique glimpse into ancient Egyptian architecture and history.
