Provand’s Lordship

Built in 1471 as the home of a hospital chaplain, Provand’s Lordship stands as one of the few surviving medieval buildings and the only remaining medieval residence in Glasgow. This grey-stone house, now a museum, offers visitors a glimpse into the past with its period-accurate rooms. Inside, antique furnishings and displays detail the history of the house, providing a tangible connection to the city’s medieval heritage. The carefully curated exhibits and authentic setting allow guests to step back in time and experience the ambiance of a bygone era.
