Paulaner Brewery (Paulaner Brauerei München)

Nestled on the Nockherberg hill by the River Isar, Munich’s Paulaner Brewery (Paulaner Brauerei) traces its origins to 1634, when monks began brewing beer. Although commercial production has shifted to a location outside the city, the original site retains a small brewery, a restaurant, and a beer garden. Visitors can enjoy a meal and a fresh brew in the traditional Bavarian setting. Each year, the brewery also hosts an annual beer festival, continuing a long-standing tradition of celebration and community.
