Established in 1913, the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute in Bangkok was the first facility in Thailand to offer anti-rabies vaccinations. Today, it is renowned for its snake farm, where over 1,000 snakes are housed. The institute plays a crucial role in producing snake antivenom, using venom extracted from these snakes.
