Yagul, a lesser-visited archaeological site in Mexico, offers a glimpse into the ancient Zapotec civilization. Dating from between AD 750 and 950, the elevated ruins provide striking views over the Tlacolula Valley. The site is home to the second largest Mesoamerican ball court after Chichén Itzá, where visitors can imagine the ancient games.
