Located in northern Chengdu, Wenshu Monastery, originally known as Xinxiang Temple, is often regarded as the best-preserved Buddhist temple in the city. The monastery was renamed after a 17th-century monk who once resided there. One of its most striking features is the 11-story iron pagoda, which stands as the largest of its kind in China. Visitors can explore the serene grounds, admire the intricate architecture, and experience the tranquil atmosphere that has drawn pilgrims and tourists alike for centuries.
