Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat)

Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara, also known as the Loha Prasat or ‘Iron Palace,’ stands as a distinctive landmark in Bangkok’s skyline. Built in the 19th century, its design draws inspiration from metal temples in India and Sri Lanka. The shrine is crowned by 37 gilded spires, each symbolizing one of the 37 virtues in Buddhist teachings. Originally intended as a space for meditation, the temple offers visitors a serene and contemplative environment. Today, guests can explore the intricate architecture and experience a sense of tranquility within the historic walls.
