Walls of the Corniche (Chemin de la Corniche)

Perched on a steep-sided river valley, Luxembourg City’s Walls of the Corniche (Chemin de la Corniche) were originally constructed as a defensive barrier around parts of the historic center. Today, this flat walkway offers panoramic views across the UNESCO-listed areas of the city. Visitors can stroll along the path and gaze over the Alzette Valley, the charming Grund neighborhood, and the Rham Plateau, taking in the rich tapestry of the city’s landscape.
