Vinh Moc Tunnels

The Vinh Moc Tunnels, stretching nearly 2,000 meters from the coastal town of Vinh Moc to a beach overlooking the South China Sea, were dug in the late 1960s as a live-in bomb shelter. More than 60 families took refuge here, some residing underground for up to six years. The tunnels feature a complex network of chambers and passageways, designed to provide both safety and a semblance of normal life. Today, visitors can explore these subterranean spaces, gaining insight into the resilience and ingenuity of those who lived through this challenging period.
