Nestled atop a cliff in Toledo, the Victorio Macho Museum occupies the former home of one of Spain’s most renowned 20th-century sculptors. After fleeing to Latin America during the Spanish Civil War, Macho returned to spend his final years here, referring to the site as his ‘Tarpeian Rock.’ The museum now showcases over 100 works donated by the artist, spanning from 1903 to 1965. Visitors can explore this intimate space, gaining insight into Macho’s life and artistic evolution through a diverse collection that reflects his prolific career.
