Upsala Glacier

Nestled within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Los Glaciares National Park near El Calafate, the Upsala Glacier stands as South America’s largest, stretching 35 miles long and 6 miles wide. One of seven glaciers that feed into Lake Argentino, it presents a formidable wall of ice. Visitors can witness boats navigating the lake, carefully maneuvering around massive icebergs, some as large as small islands. The glacier’s vast expanse and the dynamic landscape of ice and water offer a striking natural spectacle.
