Torensluis

Dating back to 1648, the Torensluis is a historic bridge with three arches that spans the Singel Canal. As the oldest and widest bridge in Amsterdam, it offers a unique glimpse into the city’s architectural heritage. The bridge is also home to a bust statue of Dutch author Eduard Douwes Dekker, better known by his pen name Multatuli. Today, visitors and locals alike frequent this charming spot, making it a lively and integral part of the city’s cultural landscape.
