The Tin Tin Straight Line, or Recta de Tin Tin, is a nearly 11-mile (18 km) stretch of highway that cuts through the CalchaquĆ Valleys in Salta, Argentina. Originally laid out by the Incas, this poker-straight road now forms part of Route 33 and is flanked by cacti-dotted plains. As a highlight of any Salta road trip, it serves as the dramatic entryway to Los Cardones National Park. Visitors driving along this historic route can experience the stark beauty of the landscape, with the unbroken line of the road stretching into the distance, framed by the rugged terrain and towering cacti.
