The Kangaroo Sanctuary

The Kangaroo Sanctuary, located near Alice Springs, gained international recognition in 2013 with the airing of the BBC/National Geographic documentary series, ‘Kangaroo Dundee.’ This series provided a glimpse into the daily life of sanctuary owner Chris “Brolga” Barnes, showcasing the efforts and challenges of running a wildlife sanctuary and rescue center.
