St. Martin’s Cathedral (Dóm Sv. Martina)

St. Martin’s Cathedral, with its 279-foot (85-meter) spire, stands as Bratislava’s largest church and a prominent feature of the Old Town’s skyline. Constructed over an earlier basilica, the current Gothic structure was consecrated in 1452. The cathedral’s spire is crowned with a symbolic crown, marking the site where 11 Hungarian monarchs were crowned between 1563 and 1830.
