Square Tower

Initially constructed as a prison in 1879, the Square Tower stands as a colonial landmark on the eastern end of the Kuching Waterfront. Its crenelated top, hexagonal turret, and the emblazoned Brooke family coat of arms give it a fortress-like appearance. Today, the building houses Magenta Restaurant, which opens exclusively for dinner, offering visitors a unique dining experience within its historic walls.
