Sofia National Gallery

The Sofia National Gallery, Bulgaria’s largest art museum, was first established in the early 20th century. In 1946, it relocated to the former Royal Palace, a historic building that now serves as its main location. The gallery has expanded over the years, with several branches across Sofia, including Kvadrat 500 and the Museum of Socialist Art. Visitors can explore a vast collection of over 42,000 pieces, ranging from classical to contemporary works, offering a comprehensive view of Bulgarian and international art.
