The Schuylkill River Trail, a multi-use recreational path, follows the meandering Schuylkill River for approximately 75 miles (121 kilometers) from the counties of Montgomery, Chester, and Berks to the heart of Center City Philadelphia. With plans to extend its length to 120 miles (193 kilometers), the trail offers a scenic route through picturesque towns and past historical landmarks. Visitors can enjoy a variety of landscapes, from wooded areas to urban settings, making it a versatile and engaging experience for both locals and tourists.
