Nestled among the nine hills that form the UNESCO-listed sacred pilgrim routes in Piedmont and Lombardy, the Sacro Monte of Varese is a spiritual and scenic destination. This medieval trail, dedicated to the Mysteries of the Rosary, winds through a landscape of forested mountain peaks. Along the path, visitors can explore 14 chapels, each with its own unique architectural and artistic features, as well as three archways and three fountains.
