Nestled among the nine hills that form the UNESCO-listed sacred pilgrim routes in Piedmont and Lombardy, the Sacro Monte of Varese is a spiritual and scenic destination. This medieval trail, dedicated to the Mysteries of the Rosary, winds through a landscape of forested mountain peaks. Along the path, visitors can explore 14 chapels, each with its own unique architectural and artistic features, as well as three archways and three fountains. The route offers a blend of religious reflection and natural beauty, inviting travelers to immerse themselves in both the spiritual and the picturesque.
