Located in Guadalajara, the neoclassical Rotunda of the Illustrious Jaliscans (Rotonda de Los Jaliscienses Ilustres) honors notable artists, writers, and politicians from the state of Jalisco. The rotunda houses nearly 100 urns, each a silent testament to the region’s rich cultural and political heritage. Encircled by leafy trees, the site also features 22 bronze statues, adding a sculptural dimension to the memorial. Visitors can walk through this serene and historically significant space, surrounded by the greenery and the imposing presence of the figures that have shaped Jalisco’s legacy.
