Roaring Camp Railroads

Step back in time at Roaring Camp Railroads, where the California redwoods can be experienced much as they were by loggers in the 1800s. Nestled in the forest just north of Santa Cruz, this historic attraction operates two train routes using authentic steam engines that date back to 1890. These engines, some of the oldest and best-preserved in the United States, offer a unique journey through the towering redwoods. Visitors today can board these vintage trains and immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of a bygone era, surrounded by the lush, serene beauty of the forest.
