Queenstown Hill

Queenstown Hill

Rising northeast of central Queenstown, Queenstown Hill stands at an impressive 2,975 feet (907 meters) high, more of a mountain compared to the surrounding landscape, though it pales in height to the nearby Southern Alps. The hill is a popular destination for hikers, offering a challenging and steep climb. As you ascend, the trail winds through native bush and rocky outcrops, leading to panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. At the summit, visitors can take in the expansive vistas and enjoy a sense of accomplishment.
