Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, located on California’s Central Coast, offers a stunning array of dramatic headlands, hidden coves, and scenic lookouts. The reserve features 5 miles (8 kilometers) of trails winding through a rocky coastline dotted with tide pools. Visitors can explore the cultural history museum and observe a variety of wildlife, such as sea lions, harbor seals, and herons. During the winter months, the reserve also provides a vantage point for spotting migrating whales.
