The white walls of Landhuis Jan Kok, one of the oldest plantation houses on Curaçao, stand out against the vibrant blue sky. Built in the 18th century, this historic residence was once home to the notoriously cruel slave owner, Jan Kok. Today, the house has been repurposed as a gallery space, showcasing the works of local artist Nena Sanchez. Visitors can explore the interior, which now features an array of colorful and evocative art, while also reflecting on the complex history embedded in its walls.
