Nestled in the Longji Terraced Fields Scenic Area northwest of Guilin, Ping’an Village is one of three main villages that make up this picturesque region. The terraced rice paddies cascade down the mountainside, their vibrant green hues blending into the landscape as they reach toward the river below. Home to a few hundred residents, the village retains much of its traditional way of life, offering visitors a glimpse into a centuries-old existence. Today, visitors can explore the winding paths and observe the daily routines of the villagers, all set against the backdrop of these stunning, meticulously maintained terraces.
