Nestled in the village of Auvers-sur-Oise, northwest of Paris, the Maison de van Gogh, also known as Auberge Ravoux, was where Vincent van Gogh spent the last 70 days of his life. He rented a simple room in the attic, creating nearly 70 works during his stay. Today, the landmark has been meticulously restored to its 19th-century appearance. Visitors can explore van Gogh’s modest attic room and the space once occupied by another artist, Anton Hirschig, offering a glimpse into the environment that inspired some of van Gogh’s most poignant works.
