Macau Islands

Historically, Macau was home to two small islands, Coloane and Taipa, just offshore of the mainland. Recent land-reclamation efforts have added a third area, Cotai, which now bridges the gap between the original islands. Despite their physical connection, each of the three areas—Coloane, Taipa, and Cotai—retains its own distinct identity, providing visitors with a variety of experiences. Today, travelers can explore the unique characteristics and attractions of each, from the serene landscapes of Coloane to the bustling entertainment of Cotai.
