Built in the early 16th century, the Landhaushof was the first Renaissance building in Graz and remains one of the most notable Renaissance structures in central Europe. Originally a smaller building housing a law firm and a chapel, it expanded over the years to occupy an entire city block, incorporating nearby buildings and various architectural styles. The main façade boasts elegant round-arched windows and airy porticoes, leading to a three-story arcaded Italianate courtyard. Today, the Landhaushof features three courtyards that host musical concerts and theater performances during the summer months.
