The Izmir Archaeology Museum, originally opened in 1927 and relocated to its current site near Konak Square and the Ethnography Museum in 1984, houses an extensive collection of artifacts. Spanning from the Bronze Age to the Greek and Roman periods, the museum’s exhibits are spread across over 5,000 square meters, including multiple floors of exhibition halls, laboratories, libraries, and conference spaces. Visitors can explore a diverse array of historical treasures, making it one of the most significant cultural institutions on Turkey’s coast.
