Ixpanpajul Natural Park (Parque Natural Ixpanpajul)

Ixpanpajul Natural Park, located just outside Petén in Guatemala, spans 1,112 acres of lush rainforest. This expansive reserve offers a variety of activities for visitors, including nature treks, canopy bridges, and zip lines that provide a bird’s-eye view of the forest. Horseback rides, night safaris, and birding treks allow for a deeper exploration of the diverse ecosystem, which is home to over 200 species of trees, 150 bird species, and 40 mammal species, including three types of monkey.
