Nestled within the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation, Indian Canyons is the ancestral home of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. This natural wonder comprises three distinct canyons: Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon. Hikers are drawn to the area’s more than 60 miles (95 kilometers) of trails, which wind through a landscape rich in both history and scenic beauty. Visitors can explore the rugged terrain, observe native flora and fauna, and gain insight into the cultural heritage of the Cahuilla people.
