Henderson Beach State Park, established as a public park in 1991, is nestled along the coast of Destin, Florida. The park quickly developed amenities such as campsites, a playground, beach boardwalks, and a bathhouse to enhance visitor experiences. One of its most notable features is the preservation of some of the Panhandle’s last remaining coastal scrub communities, which can be explored along the park’s trails. Visitors today enjoy a variety of activities, including camping, swimming, and wildlife viewing, making it a popular destination year-round.
