Hellfire Pass Memorial and Museum

Near Kanchanaburi, the Hellfire Pass Memorial and Museum honors the thousands of prisoners of war who perished while constructing the Thailand-Burma Railway, also known as the Death Railway, during World War II. The site features a museum where visitors can watch a documentary and hear first-hand testimonies from former prisoners. Outside, the path along the railway offers a somber walk through the rugged terrain, providing a tangible connection to the harsh conditions endured by those who built it.
