Hadrian’s Gate

Marking the eastern entrance to Kaleiçi, Antalya’s historic Old Town, Hadrian’s Gate stands as the last of the city’s ancient gates, dating back to AD 130. Named in honor of Roman Emperor Hadrian following his visit, this triple-arched gateway is adorned with marble columns. Its imposing structure and ornate details make it one of Antalya’s most distinctive landmarks. Visitors today can admire the gate’s well-preserved architecture and gain a glimpse into the city’s rich Roman heritage.
