Golden Mount (Wat Saket)

The Temple of the Golden Mount, or Wat Saket, stands on a low hill in Bangkok, built atop the remains of an earlier temple that crumbled and formed the current elevation. Once the highest point in the city, this site now features a pointed golden chedi that crowns the hill. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of Bangkok and to see the enshrined Buddha relic, offering a blend of historical significance and scenic beauty.
