Gibran Museum

In the town of Bcharre, in northern Lebanon, the Gibran Museum is housed in a converted 19th-century monastery. This historic site is dedicated to the renowned poet and artist Khalil Gibran, best known for his book of poetic fables, The Prophet. The museum showcases Gibran’s drawings, paintings, manuscripts, and personal library, all of which were returned to Lebanon from New York following his death in 1931. Visitors can explore the rooms filled with these artifacts, gaining insight into the life and work of one of Lebanon’s most celebrated cultural figures.
