Gibbs Hill Lighthouse

Perched on one of Bermuda’s highest hills, the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse stands 354 feet (108 meters) above sea level. Constructed from cast iron, it is one of only a few lighthouses in the world made from this material. First lit in 1846 and automated in 1964, its bright light can be seen for miles out to sea. Visitors today can climb to the top of the sparkling white lighthouse, where they are rewarded with panoramic views of the island and the surrounding ocean.
